    Extra Reach for Long Shots

    Finding the cue ball just out of natural reach presents a dilemma in every cue sport. In pool, you might be forced to abandon an obvious shot (or perhaps even the only one available), or else take the risk of over-stretching to make it, putting you in danger of miscuing or fouling by touching other balls.

    With a range of shaft sizes available, the P8P5 can be made for all players regardless of their reach. But if you're still struggling to make a particularly tricky long shot, a screw joint in the butt allows you to quickly add the optional attachment, increasing your range across all parts of the table.

    Range of Joint Options

    Every cue in the P8P range is custom-made to order, meaning you can specify how your cue is built to suit your own tastes. The P8P5 comes with a main joint in the 3/4 position, meaning you can remove the back quarter of the cue - a solid black ebony spliced butt - to fit in a carry case for transport and storage.

    But if you prefer, you can request the joint be made in different positions, depending on your preference. The ferrule of every joint is expertly wrought out of polished brass which gives a very secure fit indeed.

    Cue Craft keeps alive the best traditions of English cue manufacturing from its base in Nottinghamshire, combining expert craftsmanship with choice materials and components. Every P8P5 cue is made from American ash hand selected for the straightness of its grain, and treated with Cue Craft’s patented Silkline coating for ultra smooth, uninhibited cueing.

    This is finished off with an Elkmaster hard-wearing elk leather tip, one of the finest in the business. But if you'd prefer another tip, just specify your preference in the dropdown menu.
