The year is 1995. You are Richard Miller, an intelligence agent with a knack for sharp shooting. Your mission? Battle waves of enemy agents and soldiers, move through a remote island military complex, and rescue the president's daughter before time runs out!
This classic game hit pubs, bars and arcades in the mid-90s like a .500 Magnum round. Its fast-paced, smooth motion action captured players like nothing before, and its unique cover mechanics, using a foot pedal to crouch and reload, added a whole new dimension to shooting games. And now it's available for your own home, office or games room.
Authentic Carriage Recoil & 'Cover' Foot Pedal
This all-new upright arcade, equipped with two high quality light guns for 1- or 2-player games, faithfully recreates this all-time classic. Like the original arcade game, Time Crisis is one-player only. And there are three more iconic light gun shooters of the era, all for one or two players - Point Blank, Steel Gunner and Steel Gunner 2. You'll love the physical recoil action, where the carriage kicks after each shot. It's just like the original arcade!
You'll navigate the menu using the guns - choose which games to play, and adjust your settings. There's a Calibration mode too, for ensuring your guns are always perfectly aimed. At the foot of the machine is the 'Cover' pedal, which allows you to duck behind scenery. This was another key feature of the original. It can be moved away from the machine on a cable, so you can stand back.
Special XL 'Deluxe' Cabinet Style
The cabinet is one of Arcade1Up's 'Deluxe' cabinets. It's made in one piece, without the riser that some Arcade1Up machines come with. It also stands tall at 178.5cm, and is topped with that unique, illuminated marquee. The screen is a 17-inch LCD monitor and above that are down-firing stereo speakers, each surrounded with an attractive yellow trim.
With its bright, classic Time Crisis graphics, dummy coin door and larger size, Arcade1Up's Time Crisis arcade really looks the part. For anyone wanting to relive their 1990s arcade days, it is the very best way to bring this classic game into your home.
