    Finest Quality Materials

    All cues in Cue Craft’s P8P range benefit from shafts fashioned from the best quality American ash. The wood is hand selected for the straightness of the grain, which minimises any risk of warp and maximises strength. Straight grains are also easier to work into a perfectly smooth finish. Combined with Cue Craft’s patented Silkline finish, this helps to ensure unimpeded cueing on every shot.

    On the P8P9, the ash shaft is offset with a hand spliced Cocobolo wood butt. A tropical hard wood, Cocobolo is valued for its distinctive patterning as well as for its density. The weight of the Cocobolo short wedge gives this cue a beautiful balance, while the attractive grain pattern is complemented with a vivid green veneer design.

    Hard-Wearing Elkmaster Tip

    Another example of the careful choice of materials which go into this premium quality cue is the selection of an Elkmaster elk hide tip as standard. Elkmaster tips are used at the top level of cue sports around the world, providing a super smooth surface that is exceptionally hard wearing.

    The P8P9 comes as a short 55 inch cue with a joint in the 1/2 and 4/5 position as standard. This makes it a great option if space around your table is restricted, or if you simply feel more comfortable with a shorter cue.

    However, as Cue Craft makes every P8P9 to order, you can specify your cue is made your way. As well as a choice of lengths, you can request the joint be located in a different position, or even have no joint at all and opt for a one-piece cue instead.
